title: condor news network- script and record
Homework: NONE
Do Now:
Write down your homework and continue working on your Broadcast #1 Planning Sheet
(8th graders that have not been screened yet, will be sent to room 114 AFTER attendance has been taken.)
Content Objective: I will be able to complete 2 scripts and record both of my scripts on Vocaroo.com
Language Objective: I will be able to speak clearly and enunciate into the chromebook
Lesson Steps:
Step 1. Complete Broadcast #1 Planning Sheet

Listen to Ms. Calderon give a quick update on the 8th grade health screening: School News Segment
Have your paper script ready. Go to Vocaroo.com and record your 1st script. You will need to make sure your mic is turned on and you are wearing headphones for the play back. Once you have recorded, click play and make sure you are satisfied with your recording. Add your link to your Google Classroom document.
Now repeat this process for script #2.

Language Objective: I will be able to plan and write my first segment for the first broadcast of the Condor News Network.
Lesson Steps:

Write homework, get chromebook and write name on CATCH graphic organizer.
Content Objective: I will be able to score a 75% or above on the Achieve3000 article, "Broadcast Your Food."
Language Objective: I will be able to respond to the thought question and the questions in Google Classroom in complete sentences.
Standard: GR.7-RL 1.0: Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text.
